Big Piney Woods Pond

Basket of begonias with pond in the background.....taken 4/26/06

With the hard freezes everynight, I have been busy taking plants in and covering those already planted. Everything is pretty white every morning.

We have 6 baby goslings now!!! They hatched out Sunday afternoon. Luckily, we caught the action and trained our binoculars on them. It took about an hour before they were all in the water.

What a wonderful picture - glorious reflections in the pond, and that begonia in the foreground is stunning. I hope all the plants survive the frosts.

You are back! Yep - this one is super beautiful. You should send it to the Unbearable - so he knows what the big piney woods really look like! ;-)
